Quick and easy chicken wings for busy weeknights: Make them in under 30 minutes!

Okay, let’s talk about those chicken wings. I wanted something quick and easy, you know? Nothing fancy, just good, simple food. So, I grabbed some chicken wings from the fridge – had them lying around from the grocery run the other day.

Quick and easy chicken wings for busy weeknights: Make them in under 30 minutes!

First, I rinsed the wings under some cold water. Gotta make sure they’re clean, right? Then I patted them dry with paper towels. This is important, you want them dry so they get nice and crispy later on.

Getting Started

  • Preheat the oven. I set it to 400 degrees. While that’s heating up, I got a baking sheet and lined it with foil. Easy cleanup, you see.
  • Next, I tossed those wings in a big bowl. I just drizzled some olive oil over them, not too much, just enough to coat.

Seasoning Time

  • Now for the fun part – seasoning! I kept it simple: salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a bit of paprika for color. Just sprinkled those on and gave the wings another good toss to make sure they were evenly coated.
  • I spread the wings out on that foil-lined baking sheet. Made sure they weren’t overlapping too much.

Into the Oven

  • Then, popped them into the preheated oven. I let them bake for about 20 minutes, then I flipped them over. Gotta get both sides crispy!
  • Another 20 minutes or so on the other side. You want them golden brown and cooked through.

And that’s it! I pulled them out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes. Served them up just like that. They were perfect, juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Didn’t need any fancy sauce or anything. Sometimes, simple is best, you know?

This whole thing took me, what, maybe 45 minutes total? And most of that was just waiting for them to bake. Super easy, and the family loved them. Definitely doing this again.
