Okay, so today I wanna talk about something I did with my nails. I tried out this nail polish color called “Dim Sum Plum” from OPI. You know, OPI, that brand that makes a ton of nail polishes? Yeah, that one.
I saw this color online, and some people were saying it’s like a soft, romantic kind of color. Others said it’s more sophisticated. I just thought it looked pretty, so I decided to give it a shot.
So, I went to the store and found it. It was in the section with all the pinks and purples. I also grabbed a mini bottle of it because I heard it’s good for pedicures, and my friend Audrey told me that’s what she does. Smart, right?
Getting Started
First, I prepped my nails. You know, the usual stuff. I removed any old polish, pushed back my cuticles, and filed them into a nice shape. I wanted a clean slate for this new color.
Painting
Then came the fun part—painting! I carefully applied a thin coat of the Dim Sum Plum to each nail. One coat was a little sheer, but two coats gave me that perfect, rich color I was looking for. OPI nail polishes are great because each bottle has enough polish for a lot of coats. The Dim Sum Plum looked really nice.

Admiring the Results
After it was all dry, I just sat there for a minute, admiring my handiwork. I have to say, I really liked how it turned out. It’s definitely a plum color, but it’s not too dark or overpowering. It’s got this subtle, classy vibe to it. It’s like a muted purple with a hint of pink. Fancy, huh?
I also tried it on my toes, using that mini bottle. And you know what? It looked just as good! I think I might have found my new go-to color for both manicures and pedicures. I am very happy with this color.
