Okay, here is my sharing about how I made the quick and easy chicken noodle soup today:
So, today I really wanted to make something warm and comforting, but also wanted to keep it pretty simple. That’s when I decided to go for a quick and easy chicken noodle soup.
First, I grabbed all the stuff I needed. I already had some chicken bone broth in my pantry, which is a total lifesaver. Then, I picked up some white meat chicken, carrots, celery, and of course, noodles. Oh, and I made sure I had some basic seasonings like salt, dried onions, dried parsley, dried garlic, and black pepper. I also wanted to try something a little different, so I got some vinegar. I know it sounds kind of weird, but I heard it can really bring out the flavors in the soup.
I started by chopping up the carrots and celery into small pieces. Then I cooked the chicken. Once it was done, I shredded it into bite-sized pieces.
Next, I poured the chicken bone broth into a big pot and brought it to a boil. I tossed in the carrots, celery, and the shredded chicken. While that was simmering, I cooked the noodles separately according to the package directions. I wanted to make sure they didn’t get too mushy in the soup.
After the vegetables were tender, I added the seasonings to the soup – salt, dried onions, dried parsley, dried garlic, and a bit of black pepper. Then came the fun part: I added a splash of vinegar. I was a bit nervous about this, but it turned out to be a great idea. It added a nice little tang to the soup.
Finally, I added the cooked noodles to the soup and let it all simmer together for a few more minutes, just to let the flavors mix and mingle. Once everything was heated through, I turned off the heat and let the soup sit for a bit.
When I finally ladled the soup into bowls, it smelled amazing. And let me tell you, it tasted even better. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were soft, and the noodles were just right. The broth was rich and flavorful, and that little bit of vinegar really did make a difference. It was the perfect meal for a busy day.
Honestly, this chicken noodle soup was a total win. It was quick, easy, and super satisfying. I’ll definitely be making it again soon, especially when I need a little comfort food in my life. Next time, I’ll try to add some wakame seaweed and fresh ginger to make it miso soup. That will be better. Trust me!
