Now, I hear folks talkin’ ’bout all sorts of places. Some names get thrown around more than others. Like that JiangNan Boston place, folks seem to like it. And Dynasty, too. Heard tell of it bein’ pretty good.

But I’m gonna be honest with ya, I ain’t lookin’ for nothin’ fancy. I want somethin’ that fills my belly without emptyin’ my wallet. You know, somethin’ like what you get at Wing’s Kitchen. That’s the kinda place I like. Good food, big portions, and prices that don’t make you choke.

  • They got all the usual stuff, ya know?
  • Sweet and sour chicken, that’s always a good choice.
  • And the egg rolls, gotta have egg rolls.
  • And fried rice, lordy, I love me some fried rice.

Some folks, they like them dumplings. They go on and on ’bout places like Dumpling Xuan and Dumpling Cafe. Says they got the best dumplings in town. Well, I ain’t had ’em myself, but I reckon they must be pretty good if everyone’s talkin’ ’bout ’em.

Then there’s that Mandarin Chinese Restaurant. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I bet they got them white tablecloths and all that. Not really my style, but I hear the food’s good. Same goes for Ding’s Kitchen and Ding Ho Restaurant. Lots of folks seem to like those places.

Now, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a little different, there’s this place called Myers + Chang. I heard it’s kinda new, kinda hip. They got different stuff than your regular takeout joint, from what I hear. Might be worth a try if you’re feelin’ adventurous. But me, I’m usually stickin’ to what I know.

And don’t forget about Mu Lan and Oriental Chinese. They’re good standbys, too. Always reliable, you know? And if you’re feelin’ like seafood, there’s Jumbo Seafood Restaurant. I ain’t much of a seafood person myself, but I know some folks who swear by it.

Show Malatang, that’s another one folks mention. And New Golden Gate, too. See, there’s just so many places to choose from! It can make your head spin. But that’s a good thing, I reckon. Means you got plenty of options.

But like I said, I’m a simple gal. I want good food, I want it fast, and I don’t wanna pay an arm and a leg for it. So, when I’m lookin’ for Chinese takeout in Boston, I usually stick to the places I know and trust. The ones that have never let me down. You know, places like Wing’s Kitchen and some of them other old standbys.

But hey, that’s just me. You might have different tastes. You might like them fancy places with the white tablecloths and all that. And that’s just fine. To each their own, I always say. The important thing is to find somethin’ you like, somethin’ that fills your belly and makes you happy. And in Boston, when it comes to Chinese takeout, you got plenty of choices, that’s for sure.

So, next time you’re feelin’ hungry and you don’t feel like cookin’, give some of these places a try. You might just find your new favorite Chinese takeout spot. And who knows, maybe you’ll even see me there, pickin’ up my usual order of sweet and sour chicken and fried rice.
