Okay, so I’ve got really long hair, and sometimes I just don’t know what to do with it. It’s pretty, but it can be a hassle. So, I went on a little mission to find some quick and easy hairstyles that wouldn’t take forever but would still look cute. Let me tell you about what I tried.
The Low Bun Thing
First up, I gave the low bun a shot. I saw some people say this one’s good when you’re in a hurry. All I did was pull my hair back like I was going to do a low ponytail, but then I twisted it around and wrapped it into a bun. Secured it with a hair tie, and I was done. It wasn’t super fancy, but it got the job done, and it kept my hair out of my face. I think with a little practice, I could make it look neater. It’s definitely a good one for busy mornings.
Trying to Be Retro
Next, I tried something called a “retro updo”. I had some hairspray. I started by backcombing my hair at the crown to get some volume. Then I used a brush to smoothed it over. It seemed so strange. Pulled the rest of my hair up into a high ponytail, and then I twisted and pinned it into a bun, kind of like the low bun but higher up. I sprayed it all over with the hairspray. The result was… okay. It felt a little stiff, and I wasn’t really sure if it looked “retro” or just messy. Maybe I need better products, or maybe I just need to work on my technique.
Just Letting It Flow
Honestly, after messing around with the buns, I was kind of over it. So, I decided to just let my hair down. I brushed it out, put on a headband, and called it a day. I know, I know, it’s not really a “hairstyle”, but it’s easy, and sometimes that’s all that matters. Plus, I like how my long hair looks when it’s down. It’s just a different vibe, you know? More relaxed, more me.
My Little Experiment
So, that’s my little hair adventure.
- I learned that low buns are my friends.
- Retro updos might be a bit beyond my skill level right now.
- And sometimes, the best hairstyle is no hairstyle at all.
I’ll probably keep trying out new things, but for now, I’m pretty happy with my simple routine.
