Okay, so this morning, I wanted something quick, easy, and that I could take with me, ’cause, you know, life’s crazy.
First, I grabbed a mason jar ’cause they’re cute and practical, right? Then I dumped in some chia seeds. I don’t measure, just eyeballed it. Maybe like a quarter cup?
Making the Chia Pudding
- Pouring milk – I used almond milk, but use whatever you like. I poured until the seeds were nicely covered, plus a little extra.
- Adding some flavor – A dash of vanilla extract and a squeeze of honey went in. Again, no strict measurements, just tasted and adjusted.
- Stirring – Stirred it all up really well. You gotta make sure those chia seeds don’t clump together.
- Waiting – Then the hardest part, waiting! I usually prep this the night before, but if you’re in a rush, even 30 minutes in the fridge helps it set a bit.
This morning, I just grabbed the jar from the fridge, topped it with some fresh berries and a few nuts for crunch, screwed the lid back on, and out the door I went.
It was super easy and actually pretty filling. Plus, felt good to start the day with something kinda healthy. You can totally mix it up with different toppings. Sometimes I do cocoa powder and peanut butter. It’s like a little breakfast experiment every time!
Anyway, that’s my go-to when I need something quick and easy in the morning. I think you will love this.
