I was planning to host a Frozen-themed party for my daughter’s birthday. So I searched online and got a bunch of ideas. First off, I gotta say, those Disney FROZEN Jello “Ice” Cubes caught my eye. They looked so cool, like something straight out of Elsa’s ice palace. So, I decided to give them a try. I got a few packs of blue Jello, followed the instructions on the box, and poured them into some ice cube trays. After letting them set in the fridge, I popped them out, and boom, they were perfect! They really added that extra Frozen touch to the drinks.
Shimmering Snowflake Treats
Next, I wanted to make some snowflake-shaped treats. I baked some sugar cookies using a snowflake-shaped cutter. After they cooled down, I whipped up some white royal icing and started decorating. I made all sorts of designs, from simple lines to more intricate patterns. To add some sparkle, I sprinkled some edible glitter on top. They turned out so pretty, like little snowflakes on a plate.
Frosty Beverages
For the drinks, I made a big batch of blue punch. I mixed some blue fruit punch with a bit of lemon-lime soda to give it some fizz. I also added a few drops of blue food coloring to make the color pop. To make it extra special, I added those Jello “Ice” Cubes to each glass. The kids loved how their drinks looked like they were from Arendelle.
Chocolate Delights
Since I read that both Anna and Elsa love chocolate, I knew I had to include some chocolatey goodness. I found this amazing Darkest Chocolate Ice Cream, which is super rich and creamy. It’s said to have as much cocoa as you can legally put in ice cream! I set up an ice cream sundae bar with different flavors, including this chocolate one, and a bunch of toppings like sprinkles, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. The kids (and adults) went crazy for it!
Snacks Galore
- Cupcakes: I baked a bunch of cupcakes and decorated them with blue and white frosting. I also added some snowflake sprinkles to match the theme. They were easy to grab and eat, perfect for a party.
- Brownie Bites: I made some bite-sized brownies, which were a big hit. They were just the right size for a quick sweet treat.
- Juice Boxes: I also had plenty of juice boxes on hand, which the kids loved. I made sure to get some with Frozen-themed packaging to keep everything on point.
Overall, the party was a huge success. All the treats and drinks came together to create a winter wonderland. Everyone, especially my daughter, had a blast. It took some work, but seeing the smiles on their faces made it all worth it. I felt like a real party-planning pro!
