Yesterday, I felt like having some dim sum, and I’d heard good things about this place in iSquare, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

Getting There
First things first, I had to get to iSquare. I hopped on the MTR, which was pretty crowded, as usual. Thankfully, iSquare is easy to find right outside the Tsim Sha Tsui station exit. I went to the correct floor.
Finding the Restaurant
iSquare is a big place! I walked around and looked at the signs and the different stores. After walking around the level,I finally located it.
The Dim Sum Experience
- Ordering:I got my * gave me a little sheet where I could mark what I wanted. It was all in pictures, so I could see the menu clearly.
- The Food:I went for the classics: har gow (shrimp dumplings), siu mai (pork dumplings), and some char siu bao (barbecue pork buns). Oh, and I couldn’t resist some egg tarts!
- The Wait:It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive. The place was fairly busy, but the steamers kept coming out.
- Eating! The har gow were juicy, the siu mai were flavorful, and the char siu bao were fluffy and sweet. The egg tarts were the perfect ending – warm, creamy custard in a flaky crust.
Overall Thoughts
I have eaten. Stuffed, I paid the bill (pretty reasonable, I might add) and headed back out. All in all, it was a solid dim sum experience. The food was good, the service was decent.I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area and craving some good, old-fashioned dim sum.
