Okay, so today I’m gonna spill the beans on my super quick and easy hairstyles for when my hair is still dripping wet. Seriously, who has time to wait for their hair to dry completely before styling? Not me!

First up: The Messy Bun (but make it chic).
- Okay, so first things first, I flip my head upside down. This is crucial for volume, trust me.
- Then, I gather all my hair into a high ponytail, like, as high as I can get it without looking ridiculous.
- I twist the ponytail loosely. Don’t make it too tight, we’re going for effortless here.
- Now, I wrap the twisted hair around the base of the ponytail to form a bun. It doesn’t have to be perfect, in fact, the messier the better!
- I secure it with a hair tie. Sometimes I need two if my hair is being extra slippery.
- And finally, I pull out a few strands around my face to soften the look. Voila! Instant wet-hair chic.
Next, we have the Braided Headband. This one takes a little more practice, but it’s so worth it.
- I start by taking a section of hair right above my ear. About an inch or two wide.
- Then, I divide that section into three strands and start braiding, like a regular braid.
- As I braid, I add in hair from the front hairline. Basically, I’m doing a French braid, but only on one side of my head.
- I continue braiding until I reach the other ear.
- Once I get to the other ear, I just finish braiding the remaining hair like a normal braid and secure it with a tiny hair tie.
- Then, I tuck the end of the braid behind my ear and pin it in place with a bobby pin or two. Bam! A super cute braided headband that keeps my wet hair out of my face.
And last but not least: The Low Twisted Ponytail. This is my go-to when I’m really in a rush.
- I part my hair either down the middle or to the side, depending on my mood.
- Then, I gather all my hair into a low ponytail at the nape of my neck.
- Before I secure it with a hair tie, I twist the ponytail a few times. This just adds a little something extra.
- Finally, I secure it with a hair tie. That’s it! Seriously, it takes like two seconds.
Tips and Tricks!
A few extra things I’ve learned along the way:
- Use a good hair tie! Those cheapy ones will snap on you when your hair is wet and heavy.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment! These are just starting points. Mix and match, add your own flair!
- A little bit of hair serum or mousse can help control frizz and add some shine, especially when your hair is air-drying.
- Bobby pins are your best friend. Seriously, stock up!
So, there you have it! My quick and easy hairstyles for wet hair. Hope these help you save some time and still look fab! Let me know if you try any of them out!
