Okay, folks, let’s talk pizza. Specifically, let’s talk about making pizza crust fast. Because sometimes, you just need pizza, and you need it now. I’ve been there, trust me. So, I messed around in the kitchen, and here’s what I came up with – a quick and easy pizza crust that actually works.

The Experiment Begins
First, I grabbed a big bowl. You know, the kind you use for, like, everything? Yeah, one of those.
Then, I dumped in about 3 cups of all-purpose flour. I didn’t sift it or anything fancy. Just straight from the bag. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Mixing It Up
Next, I added a packet of active dry yeast. The kind you find in the baking aisle. I sprinkled in about a teaspoon of salt, and maybe a teaspoon and a half of sugar. Honestly, I just eyeballed it.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-1.5 teaspoon sugar
I gave all that dry stuff a good whisk with, you know, a fork. Just to get it all mixed together.
Adding the Wet Stuff
Now for the wet ingredients. I poured in about a cup and a quarter of warm water. Not hot, not cold, just…warm. Like a nice bath. And then I drizzled in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Again, I didn’t measure precisely. Just a good glug.

Getting My Hands Dirty
I ditched the fork and went in with my hands. I started mixing everything together, kind of squishing and kneading it in the bowl. It starts out shaggy and messy, but don’t worry, it’ll come together.
Kneading Time!
Once it formed a sort of rough ball, I turned it out onto a lightly floured counter. And then, I started kneading. I pushed and folded, pushed and folded. For, like, 5-7 minutes? It doesn’t have to be perfect, just until it feels kinda smooth and elastic.
Resting (for the Dough, Not Me!)
I formed the dough into a ball, placed it back in the bowl, and covered it with a clean kitchen towel. Then, I let it rest.Just give the dough 10 minutes while working on other stuffs.
Pizza Time!
After that I preheated my oven to, like, 450 degrees Fahrenheit. While that was happening, I rolled out the dough. I like mine thin and crispy, so I rolled it out pretty * do you, though. If you like it thicker, roll it less.
Then, I transferred the crust to a baking sheet, added my sauce, cheese, and toppings, and popped it in the oven. I baked it for about 12-15 minutes, until the crust was golden brown and the cheese was all bubbly and delicious.

Done! Seriously, it’s that easy. And it’s way better than delivery.
