California Pizza Gluten Free: Your Ultimate Guide to Finding the Perfect Gluten Free Pizza!

Okay, so I’ve been trying to cut down on gluten, right? But I still crave pizza like crazy. So, the other day, I decided to give the gluten-free pizza at California Pizza Kitchen a shot. I’d heard mixed things, but I was hopeful.

California Pizza Gluten Free: Your Ultimate Guide to Finding the Perfect Gluten Free Pizza!

First off, finding the gluten-free options on their menu wasn’t too tough. They have a separate section which lists all those items. I looked it over and saw that they had a decent number of choices, not just pizza. I started off ordering the Wedge Salad. I also noticed they had California Olive Oil with Mediterranean Herbs and many other options, but I just stuck with the salad for an appetizer.

When it came time to order the main course, I went for their gluten-free pizza. I chose a simple pepperoni pizza, just to see how their crust was. While I was waiting, I did a little more digging on my phone. Turns out, they have like eight or so gluten-free options in total, which is pretty cool. It’s always nice to have choices, you know?

The Verdict

  • Crust: I gotta say, the crust was surprisingly good. It wasn’t exactly like regular pizza crust, a bit thinner and crispier, but it definitely satisfied that pizza craving.
  • Taste: The overall taste was pretty solid. The sauce and cheese were just what you’d expect from a decent pizza joint. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely tasty.
  • Options: I was pretty happy with the number of gluten-free options they had. It wasn’t just one sad, lonely pizza. They had salads, and I saw some other stuff I might try next time.

All in all, I’d say it was a win. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but for a gluten-free option, it was way better than I expected. I’ll probably go back when that pizza craving hits again. If you’re avoiding gluten and missing pizza, I’d say give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was!

Oh, and I checked the date on their updated gluten-free info, it said July 2, 2021. So, it seems like they keep their menu pretty current, which is good to know.
