Well, look here, ain’t this somethin’? Talkin’ about that China Wok grub place over in Wesley Chapel. You know, the one at 5313 Village Market. Got a menu longer than a country road, that one does.
First off, you gotta pick your rice. Now, they got this beef fried rice, but they wanna charge ya extra for it. Five dollars and sixty-five cents, can you believe it? Highway robbery, I tell ya. Then there’s the beef lo mein, that’s a bit cheaper, but still, three seventy-five? Seems like a lot of money just for some noodles.
If you’re watchin’ your pennies, get the chicken fried rice. Only a dollar more. That’s what I do, ain’t got money to throw around, ya know? Gotta be smart with your cash.
Now, let’s talk about the food itself. They got all sorts of things, startin’ with them appetizer things. Little bites to munch on before you get to the real deal. Then comes the main dishes, big ol’ plates of food. They got chicken, beef, shrimp, you name it.
- Chicken with broccoli, that’s a good one. Nice and healthy, ya know? Got your greens in there.
- Beef and peppers, that’s got a bit of a kick to it. Wakes ya up, it does.
- Shrimp with lobster sauce, that’s fancy. Feel like a queen eatin’ that.
But, I gotta tell ya, sometimes the food ain’t always the same. One day it’s good, next day it’s kinda blah. I guess it depends on who’s cookin’ in the back. And sometimes, they forget things. You order extra sauce, they don’t give it to ya. You ask for no onions, they load it up with onions. Makes ya wanna pull your hair out, it does.
But, what are ya gonna do? It’s the only Chinese place around here, so you gotta make do. And when it’s good, it’s real good. Hot and fresh, just how you like it. Fills ya up and leaves ya satisfied.
Don’t forget the fortune cookies! Always fun to crack those open and see what your future holds. Mine usually says somethin’ about travelin’ or meetin’ new people. Don’t know if I believe it, but it’s fun to think about.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some Chinese food over in Wesley Chapel, China Wok is the place to go. Just be prepared to spend a little more than you might think. And don’t be surprised if they mess up your order. It’s part of the experience, I guess. Just smile and nod, and enjoy your food.
