Oh, let me tell you ’bout them ABC Dim Sum, it’s somethin’ else, y’know. If ya ever find yourself out in Los Angeles, and yer stomach’s rumblin’ for somethin’ tasty, that ABC Dim Sum is the place to be. Now, don’t be thinkin’ it’s all fancy and whatnot, but it’s real good, especially if you like them small bites with a lot of flavor packed in. I ain’t no expert, but I’ve had my fair share of dim sum, and this here’s as good as any. Real fresh, too!
Now, I’ve been there a few times, and I gotta tell ya, the service ain’t bad at all. You walk in, they greet ya nice, and before ya know it, they’re bringin’ you your order. I went ahead and ordered me some dim sum along with a couple of combo plates. I got me some lo mein, fried rice, orange chicken, and some beef and veggie stir fry. Y’all know how that combo plate fills you up right, but the dim sum… now that’s where it’s at!
Shu Mai is always the first thing I go for. It’s just perfect, all steamed up and stuffed with a mix of pork and shrimp that’s real juicy. You take a bite, and it just melts right in your mouth, I swear. Then there’s them fried shrimp balls, crispy on the outside, but once you sink your teeth in, the shrimp inside’s so soft and sweet. Can’t beat that!
And don’t even get me started on them har gow. Them dumplings are a real treat. They ain’t too big, but the shrimp in ’em is fresh and the skin’s all soft and chewy. I could eat a whole plate of them, no problem. The thing is, dim sum ain’t just about eatin’ – it’s about enjoyin’ the flavors, takin’ your time, and sittin’ around with good folks, talkin’ ‘bout everything and nothing at all.
Now, I’ve read some people sayin’ ABC Dim Sum is one of the top spots in Los Angeles for this kinda food, and I’d say they ain’t wrong. They got that traditional touch, but it’s not like you’re in some old dusty restaurant where the food’s been sittin’ around for hours. Nah, they make it fresh, and it shows.
If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ special, I reckon ABC Seafood (that’s where the dim sum is) is where you want to go. I don’t know much about other places in Los Angeles, but this one right here’s got my vote. They do a good job of keepin’ that food hot, and the flavors? Y’can’t go wrong with that, trust me.
Oh, and if you’re the type to go for a combo meal, I say throw in some fried rice or lo mein – that’s gonna fill ya up good. Can’t go wrong with some fried rice, especially when you’re gettin’ that sweet orange chicken to go with it. Y’all ever had that? It’s like the best thing ever, real tangy and sweet at the same time. You just can’t stop eatin’ it!
So yeah, next time you’re out in Los Angeles and yer thinkin’ about where to get ya some good eats, give ABC Dim Sum a shot. They know what they’re doin’, and you ain’t gonna leave hungry, I promise ya that. A good meal, some good folks, and a good time to be had.
But don’t just take my word for it, go on over and try it for yerself. The place ain’t too fancy, but the food’s enough to make ya wanna come back for more, that’s for sure. I reckon if you like dim sum, you ain’t gonna find much better than this. It’s just the way it is.
